What is YCADA?
YCADA is an organization that provides universal governance for the sport of youth/rec cheer, dance or spirit-related events, and encourages growth in the sport as a whole. YCADA establishes standardization in the areas of 1) Youth/Rec Rules & Rules Interpretation 2) Score Sheets and 3) Scoring Guidelines. YCADA also provides membership access to training, committees, and resources related to the sport.

YCADA is committed to helping grow the youth recreational cheer and dance market and promoting consistency in scoring, participant safety and the sportsmanship and spirit of the sport. We are dedicated to athletes maintaining active participation and matriculation in youth recreation leagues and organizations. We will remain dedicated to meeting the changing needs of this diverse community.
History.
The concept of YCADA began in 2010. The official non-profit corporation was formed in 2012. YCADA is the largest Youth/Rec governing body.YCADA was developed by and is comprised of individuals that have been involved in the Youth/Rec industry for a majority of their cheer careers.
